Quality Warranty on Legal Documents
Nationwide Warranty on Our Legal Documents
Summary
Our legal documents are designed to be honored in all 50 states within the United States. We want our clients to be completely satisfied with our work; therefore, we encourage our clients to have their legal documents reviewed by others. If problems arise we will work to remedy any discrepancies. We are always open to new ideas and encourage clients to look for better drafted documents.
Our legal documents are designed to be honored in all 50 states of the United States of America. We believe that individuals in our society must be allowed the freedom to be mobile and must not lose the effectiveness of their legal documents as they move from one state to another.
We have designed our legal documents for use in all 50 states
Comparable legal documents to those you will receive have already been reviewed by other clients, accountants, and attorneys in many states. The provisions of our trusts have been reviewed and approved by the IRS in a letter ruling. Our entire estate plan and corporation forms package has been distributed as model documents at workshops of the College of Estate Planning Attorneys. Most of the provisions of our forms have been printed in the form books and legal kits of LawForms and distributed in all 50 states of the United States for many years with success.
We are experienced in drafting legal documents
Having been in business for over 40 years, our firm possesses valuable knowledge and experience in working with estate and business structuring documents without adverse consequences.
We will revise, improve and correct documents within 30 days of receipt without charge
As soon as you receive the legal documents that we prepare for you, we encourage you to show them to all of your advisors – your family members, your attorney, your friends, your CPA, your life insurance agent, and others. We will forward copies of the documents to those advisors you designate when we send you your copies. If you or your advisors have any questions or find any problems with the documents, please contact us immediately so that we may explain, discuss, or make improvements in the documents at no charge.
We have a procedure for refunding your fees if we cannot revise your documents to your satisfaction
If, after reviewing the legal documents that we have prepared for you, you decide you do not want to use the documents, we will give you a credit after, (1) we have reviewed the documents that you propose to use to replace our documents, and (2) we have run those replacement documents through our checklists to point out any problems with the replacement documents. If, after being advised of the problems with the replacement documents, you exercise your decision to use the replacement documents instead of those we have prepared for you, we will give you a credit of 50% of the legal fees for the documents to be applied toward future legal work with our firm. The credit percentage is the non-overhead attorney portion of the fees. In the past, we have encountered situations where the replacement documents were substandard and the client had no protection to validate it with another attorney until after it was too late.
We have very complete and unique documents
Many attorneys often initially question our estate and business structuring documents because they are more extensive and complete than the traditional documents that are designed for use only in one locale. We continually remain open to any specific improvements that you or your advisors may forward to us. Because of our openness to improvements, our documents have had a fast evolution process. We strive to “cover all bases” at all times. We want our clients to have the best and most complete documents. Each month, we enhance our documents with new ideas from clients, professional colleagues, and seminars that our legal team members attend.
We challenge our clients to look for better drafted documents than ours
We encourage you to look for copies of legal documents from others. If you (1) find any legal documents that are more complete and extensive than the estate or business structuring documents that we have prepared for you, and (2) forward those documents to us, we will pay for an evening for two in the final local restaurant!
At all times we promise to give away our best idea for a better one. We want to work together with you and your advisors as a team to achieve greater shared excellence.
